Is It Easy To Develop Telepathy?

Posted by George J Dexon on Feb 28, 2010

Telepathy is the direct transfer of thoughts, emotions, or feelings from one person to another person using only the power of the mind.

All of us have latent telepathic abilities. This is something which most of us cannot use consciously, however; like any other skill, telepathy must be practiced. There are times when we use telepathy without even realizing it; but what of you could develop telepathy to the point where you could use it at will?

There is no shortage of skeptics when it comes to telepathy, or in fact about any mental ability. However, consider this first , how many times have you been on top of the world when you run into someone you know who is feeling miserable; and after talking to this person for only a short time, you begin to take on the same mood? Probably more times than you can count.

Its not the words the person is saying to you, its the transference of their emotions and feeling leaking into your own subconscious mind. This is a form of telepathy.

Scientific studies have shown that by accessing the sub-conscious centre of your mind and learning to focus your thoughts and feelings toward a specific person, it is possible to re-awaken the dormant telepathic abilities.

Just like the use of language, telepathy has to be learned. As children, we learn spoken and body language from our parents. We learn by imitating these methods of communication; similarly, telepathy may be learned.

What if our parents never taught us to use that other ability, the one where we can communicate with our minds? Does that mean we cant do it? No. It simply means we were never taught how.

Lets look at some ways you might use to awaken your own latent telepathy.

Mental-Muscle training

Just as we have to learn how to control our vocal chords as children to form speech, your telepathic muscles will also need some training.

The centers in your brain that control telepathic communication work most strongly on the sub-conscious level, or in the trance-like hypnotic state. This trance state is a level of relaxation all humans are capable of reaching without too much trouble.

Learn to relax your mind so that you can reach your trance state easily. When you can reach this point, youve begun to train your mind to be controlled at will.

Focus

This can be difficult for many, it takes some practice to be able to stay focused while in a trance state. Practice by focusing on someone youd like to communicate with the next time you are practicing your relaxation techniques.

Visualize them and project positive thoughts. Visualize them receiving your thoughts. Remain focused on this until the recipient has had enough time to absorb these thoughts.

Then stop focusing on them at all. Stop the contact so that they can feel the communication being broken off; this should make them attempt to reestablish this link.

Keep practicing this technique; once you start telepathy training with a partner, this practice should have prepared you well for sending and receiving telepathic communications.

Partner Practice

One of you should be the sender, the other the receiver. Start by sending simple thoughts, such as bright colors which will be readily recognized.

The receiver should be prepared with pad and pen to record any and all impressions and thoughts that come to mind.

Afterwards, sender and receiver compare notes to assess how successful the exercise has been. Dont get discouraged; telepathy is an ability which takes practice, but you will improve over time.

Gay Destinations: Ireland

Posted by Howie Holben on Feb 27, 2010

Gay vacations to Ireland have been a popular choice dating back to at least the time of Oscar Wilde. While Ireland may not have been nearly as LGBT-friendly in his time, it has come a long way since the days of folks – like Wilde – being sent to hard labor camps or jail for what was then known as \”indecency.\” In fact, up until 1861 the act of sodomy was punishable by death, but today Ireland has recently moved ahead of the U.S. when it comes to LGBT rights by legalizing civil unions for same-sex couples in 2009, after decriminalizing homosexuality in 1993.

While this does not mean that this largely Catholic country is ready to embrace same-sex relationships in every village – or even every city – Ireland is now far more welcoming and can safely be considered a great place for gay travel. Several larger cities, including Dublin, Galway, Cork and Waterford, have visible, active communities, community celebrations, numerous establishments catering or welcoming to the community and plenty of attractions to fill an entire vacation; however, whether travelers choose to participate in solo travel or gay tours, one should not miss the Irish countryside and quaint, traditional villages that dot the verdant landscape or sit atop breathtaking coastal cliffs during their vacation to Ireland as well.

Although many cities in Ireland now have community hangouts, organizations, annual community celebrations and an active LGBT community, Dublin reigns supreme as the center of Ireland\’s LGBT scene, making it a must-do for anyone planning gay travel here. Dublin\’s nightlife is a blend of both casual pubs and high-class clubs – some even with dress codes – which offers folks on gay vacations the opportunity to experience vastly different aspects of the local community. Dublin is also well known for a variety of community festivals held throughout the year, which include the Dublin Gay Theatre Festival in May, Dublin International LGBTQ Pride in June, and the Dublin Lesbian and Gay Film Festival in July.

Regardless of which time of year you partake in gay travel to Ireland, there will be some sort of activities going on, which will be listed in GCN – Ireland\’s most-read community magazine – so, if you enjoy the scene, you will definitely want to pick up a copy when you get to town. Some of the attractions that you will not want to miss while in Dublin include the Book of Kells, the Guinness Storehouse, the Hugh Lane Gallery, the Old Jameson Distillery, the Oscar Wilde House Museum and The George, which is Dublin\’s quintessential community bar.

Folks planning gay tours should consider partaking in group gay tours to ensure that they do not miss out on the plethora of historical, cultural and natural attractions that this intriguing, romantic nation has to offer.

Lucid Dreams – An Awesome Experience!

Posted by Gary Scraysbrook on Feb 24, 2010

Lucid dreams are dreams you are having, but you are aware that they are dreams and can actually control them. You are aware of every move you make, and the things you say. You decide where you want to go, what you want to do, what you want to say and who you want to be with.

There are no limits to what you can experience through lucid dreams. You can be the star of a romantic fantasy novel, or high action adventure, you can control the outcome or change the endings to what makes you happiest.

The difference between normal dreams and lucid dreams is that you control lucid dreams, where normal dreams may wander randomly from subject to subject. You may even have to pinch yourself because they can seem so real versus normal dreams that may be strange, abstract and sometimes scary.

In a dream, certain things will not seem right, like reading words, or colors may not be pronounced. There are simple tests many people do to see if they are really are having a lucid dream or are in a state like sleep walking, for example.

Someone you want to be with may be impossible in real life, but in a lucid dream, you where anything is possible, you can be sitting and talking with a loved one that has passed or a guy you saw at the subway station.

In lucid dreams you can decide the kind of events that can happen. Let\’s say you are dreaming that you are with a person you desire to be with. In your dream that person can smile at you and even touch you. In fact in your dream, that person can do anything you want him to do!

Lucid dreams are very much possible. Though the body needs to revive itself for the next day by sleeping and resting, it is possible for your mind to be partly conscious.

It can take awhile to learn the techniques of lucid dreaming if you have never done it, but it can be learned over a period of time with practice.

Trying to remember your dreams and what they were about, who was in them and the outcome is a good way to start. Dream interpreters say to keep a pad and pen by handy so that you waste no time jotting down your images as soon as you remember them or awaken. It is possible the dream will repeat its self and you can finish writing it down. If you document your lucid dreams as you go, you may start to see a pattern develop over a period of time.

Writers will often use this technique to line up their next novel, using some of the scenes and characters from the lucid dream as the basis for the storyline. Lucid dreaming is a good outlet to channel your ambitions to come up with an action plan to make them a reality.

You can sometimes continue the dream where you left off, if you wake up, recall everything you can about your dream, and go back to sleep. Lucid dreams have been found to have a pattern, so chances are you will be able to recall more each time as it reaches a conclusion to your liking.

If you wake before your normal time, let\’s say you have a couple of hours to go; this is the easiest time for lucid dreaming. It may seem like you have been awake and thinking all the time, but you have actually been lucid dreaming.

With practice it will become easier each passing day. Self hypnosis is also a great way to enhance your lucid dreaming experience.

You can sometimes put your mind into the mode of lucid dreaming using other techniques, such as binaural beats, which are a recent development in sound technology. By using sound waves to put parts of the brain responsible for lucid dreaming to work to instantly put you into the lucid dream condition and help you recall lucid dreams.

Understanding Telepathic Communication

Posted by Alex J Gould on Feb 24, 2010

We only use ten percent of the brain to function and survive throughout life. A huge part of our brains remains unused.

The ability is within everyone to communicate using only the power of the mind. We are able to see what others are thinking without saying anything or using any physical effort.

We are taught from birth to not pursue our natural ability to send and receive telepathic messages. It would more than likely be considered \”weird\” or a sign of a mental problem if we did recognize this ability.

We push our natural abilities aside, but it still crops up sometimes when we somehow know who is calling when the phone rings or what someone is going to say before they say it.

Is this forewarning a form of clairvoyance? Or did your mind simply receive a subconscious telepathic call from the person calling you?

Whether we realize it or not we already send and receive telepathic signals. It is possible to learn to do this deliberately whenever we want. It takes a little practice, but is well within the scope of our brains.

Human telepathy is a natural inherent ability within most human beings that is usually never harnessed or guided into being one of the senses we use consciously in our daily lives. This doesn\’t mean we don\’t use it. It simply means the majority of people don\’t know how to focus their minds in such a way to make communication possible.

It\’s been scientifically proven that our thoughts have a frequency, much like radio waves, and they can be measured. If you can learn to harness the frequency of your thoughts and direct them where you want, then you\’ll begin to learn how to communicate using your mind alone.

Some techniques to enhance your telepathic abilities

*A trance like state – When you get into a trance like state and become very relaxed, you will be able to send and receive messages at will. It is somewhat like being hypnotized, your mind will be open and receptive to communication.

If you are wanting to develop the ability to be telepathic, work on getting into the trance state to be successful with it.

*Learn to focus – Find a place where you will not be disturbed, relax your mind and body. Picture the one you want to communicate with mentally. Send the message and assure yourself they are getting it. Don\’t make it a command just tell the person you would like to hear from them and think pleasing thoughts about them.

*Belief – You need to believe that the other person is receiving your message. Keep an open minded attitude as you learn to expand your telepathic focus.

*Stop the exercise – Snap yourself out of your dreamy state and go about your daily routine. This is an important part of the whole process.

As soon as you are finished and withdraw your good feelings from the person, he or she will be prompted to contact you. This is because you cut off the communication and the person will no longer feel your presence. They will miss you more and take steps to reach out to you.

This is a great way to become focused on developing and using telepathy to communicate. You can use two people to practice and enhance your abilities.

How to learn more by using two people

*One Sends and One Receives – Determine who wants to be the sender and who will be the receiver. We will start with you being the sender.

Since you are the sender your friend the receiver needs to have a pen and paper handy and be prepared to write down what comes into their mind. The receiver may feel silly at first so remember to stress how important it is to write everything down regardless of how trivial it may seem.

*Visualization – The person sending should pre-arrange some clear, simple images that are easy to pick up. Choose items that most people know easily, like red apples, yellow bananas or a white moon. These are concise simple images to project and maintain your focus.

*Transmission – Lie back and focus on connecting with your receiver. Imagine the two of you are connected and thoughts are flowing through a wire or cord back and forth. You can visualize this in a way that works for you as long as it represents a connection.

Get a clear picture of your image and send it down the line. Imagine a clear, bright picture of it racing or flowing to your receiver. Stay focused on the object until you see it reach the receiver.

The art of visualizing and focusing is the best way to get your message out to the one you need to reach.

*End message – Stop sending when you have seen the object reach the receiver. Stop thinking about it, this is an important step as it lets the receiver see the image appear. He or she will also have time to write it all down

*Receiver – The receiver should relax and remain as calm as possible. With an open mind and a willingness to receive images and impressions, the receiver should write down any impressions that come to mind.

All humans will experience flashes and images in their mind\’s-eye when their thoughts are still. Your receiver will at first believe he\’s making things up, but it\’s important to still record any impressions.

*The verdict – When you are done with the training exercise, check and see if the images you sent were well received. Even someone with undeveloped powers will receive some images from the sender. Do not expect all of them to come through clearly at first. It will take some practice to get better at it.

These results can be improved with practice.
