Ken Copeland was born at Lubbork, Texas on December 6, 1939. He was the founder of a Christian Organization called Kenneth Copeland Ministries. Ken had converted to Christianity on November 1962 and was a well known author, speaker and a televangelist.

He was initially a recording artist of partial Native American decent. However after his conversion to Christianity he left the recording art and started writing articles and books. His work was widely appreciated and his performance made place in the list of top charts. His work on Billboard entered the list of top 40 hits. In Apr 20, 1957 his work \”Pledge of Love\” also made a place in the top 40\’s and stayed there for an 8 week period. The best place he could reach in the list of top charts was 12th.

He was dedicated with Christian ministry work after his conversion to Christianity. He became a pilot and chauffeurs for Oral Roberts in the 1960s and got enrolled in Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Oral Roberts University Boards of Regents was one of the board formed at Oral Roberts University with Ken Copeland being its main member till 2008. Later on a different board came up which assured a higher standards of financial accountability. This new board was created due to a case which blamed the University for performing wrong financial and political acts during October 2007. George Pearson who was the chairman of the board of Oral Toberts University till January 2008 got married with Ken Copeland\’s eldest daughter named Terri.

During 1970\’s the Kenneth Copeland Ministries became more popular and in 1979 the \”Believer\’s Voice of Victory\” made its first appearance on television. The ministries Headquarter are based in Newark, Texas and its international locations are in Australia, Africa, Canada, United Kingdom and Ukraine. In about 23 Countries these ministries have been active in ministry of prison inmate.

Some people had criticized the teachings of Ken Copeland on different issues. In \”Word Faith Movement\” he said that claim on faith healing and Bible believers will get returns for their giving ( Refer : Genesis 26:12, Mark 4:20, Mark 10:29-30, Luke 6:38, II Corinthians 9:6-12 and Galatians 3:13-14 of the Bible). This work of Ken was widely criticized.

Ken Copeland taught us to praise God all the time be it the morning, noon or night. He said that those who have not yet praised god in their lifetime should start praising him. We have to praise him for the freedom, for healing and for Calvary. On basis of Lord Jesus being the first person who mentioned in the phrase \”Born Again\” everyone asked Ken Copeland the exact meaning of that phrase.

An Airport with the name \’Kenneth Copeland Airport\’ has been established at Texas. This Airport was established by the Kenneth Copeland Ministries.
